Privacy Policy

Who we are

Suggested text: Our site address is: https://retraition.com.

Comments

Suggested text: When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, the visitor's IP address, and browser user agent to help detect spam.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service if you use it. You can find the Gravatar service's privacy policy here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile photo will be publicly visible alongside your comment.

Media

Suggested text: If you're a registered user and upload images to the site, you should avoid uploading images that contain EXIF GPS location data. Visitors to the site can download and view the location data from these images.

Cookies

Suggested text: When you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to have your name, email address, and website saved in a cookie. This is for your convenience so you don't have to fill in these details again for your next comment. These cookies are valid for one year.

If you visit our login page, we'll set a temporary cookie to check whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.

When you log in, we'll save several cookies related to your login information and screen display options. Login cookies are valid for two days, and screen display option cookies for one year. If you select "Remember me," your login will be saved for two weeks. When you log out of your account, the login cookies will be deleted.

When you edit or publish a post, an additional cookie will be saved by your browser. This cookie contains no personal data—only the post ID of the article you've edited. This cookie expires after one day.

Embedded content from other sites

Suggested text: Posts on this site may include embedded content (such as videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other sites behaves exactly the same as if you've visited that other site.

These sites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged into that site.

Who we share your data with

Suggested text: If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we keep your data

Suggested text: When you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognize and approve follow-up comments instead of having to moderate them.

For users who register on our site (if available), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they can't change their username). Site administrators can also view and edit this information.

What rights you have over your data

Suggested text: If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request an export file of the personal data we hold about you, including all the data you've provided to us. You can also request that we delete all personal data we hold about you. This excludes any data we're required to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

Suggested text: Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
